The Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) International Concerto Competition was established to identify, encourage, and foster outstanding young musicians from the ASEAN region in the development and realization of their careers in music through performance opportunities in a diverse and supportive environment.


The Jury of the 6th ASEAN International Concerto Competition consists of distinguished musicians from Asia, Europe, and America, who have served previously as jurors of international competitions.

The ASEAN International Concerto Competition is

a member of the Alink-Argerich Foundation.

The Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) International Concerto Competition was established in order to identify and encourage outstanding young musicians from the ASEAN region, and to assist in the development of their careers by providing them with suitable performing opportunities.

Objective

The jury for the 6th ASEAN International Concerto Competition consists of distinguished musicians from all around the world, who have previously served as jurors of other international competitions.

Jury

  1. 1.There will be a maximum of six finalists in each category. All finalists will receive a Certificate of Merit.


  1. 2.There will be special awards for the best performances in celebration of the 32th Anniversary of Yayasan Musik Jakarta.


  1. 3.1st Prize winners of all categories will perform at the Winners’ Gala Concert.


  1. 4.1st Prize winners of all categories will be invited to perform in a concert in Indonesia with airt tickets and accommodation borne by Yayasan Musik Jakarta.


  1. 5.Total prize with concert engagements are worth more than $20,000.
